Artist: Jeff “Tain” Watts
Jeff "Tain" Watts is a jazz drummer who has performed with Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Betty Carter, Michael Brecker, Alice Coltrane, Ravi Coltrane, and others.
Included in his long career was his work with the Wynton Marsalis Quartet, which won three Grammy Awards during his time with them.
Watts was awarded a Guggenheim fellowship in music composition in 2017. He attended Berklee College of Music, where he met collaborator Branford Marsalis.
